Daddy, I appreciated all the times you took me fishing. Whether it was hot or cold, rain or shine. Crappie jigging was my favorite. You held so much knowledge in your head about life, cars, boats, fishing, you could do anything. I was always proud of you. I remember when you taught me to drive the first time. I was about 12, it was night time, I had to sit on the edge of the seat just to reach the pedals, while you were sitting on the hood of the old white station wagon shooting rabbits with a 22 rifle in one hand and a Budweiser beer in the other. I still find myself planning my day around you, helping Mama and then realizing you aren't there anymore. It just doesn't feel real with you being gone. I know in my heart you are in a better place but I still miss you so bad. I promise you I will take care of Mama, I know she misses you too terribly. I love you daddy and always will.
