I so enjoyed working with your Mother in the clinic. She had such a positive attitude about her life. She was so strong in battling her cancer. She loved both of you, Brad and Scott, so very much and was so proud of both of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Linda was a treasure... sweet and gracious always. She was a member of our breast cancer support group, and was encouraging and supportive to many other women on this journey. Linda will be missed by a wide circle of friends. In 1960 Linda and I were newbies at Hillwood for 8th grade, and were in almost every class together. We lost touch after Hillwood, but through a high school reunion made contact in the last few years. Linda will live on through the memories of her friends and through the smiles of her children and grandchildren.

Linda was a wonderful friend to me. We went to the same junior high and high school in Nashville, but she was my oldest sister's classmate. I recall she was tall and beautiful and played basketball. In the last 2 years, we reconnected through the breast cancer support community and became very close. We would meet up when she had doctor visits or treatments at Centennial in Nashville, and talk and laugh..

My deepest sympathy to Linda's family and all who knew and loved her. Her kindness to me over 40 years ago had kept her in my heart and I am so happy that I had the privilege to reconnect with her and let her know how much her friendship meant to me. We are all fortunate to have had our lives touched by this beautiful soul.

I shall treasure time spent with Linda in the dorms of MTSU, in Kappa Delta Sorority, and as a bridesmaid in her wedding.
Time and space separated us in later years; we shall meet again one day. Linda was always smiling. I can still remember her laugh and beautiful brown eyes filled with the tears from the laughter and gaeity we all enjoyed in her presence! She will not be forgotten.

I worked with Linda for 12 years at Cumberland University. She was kind and friendly and always spoke as we met in the halls. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren as evidenced by the pictures that sat in her office. Linda, you will be missed but know that you are in a much better place and free of pain!!!

In the short time I worked with Linda she became a very dear friend. She had an amazing sense of humor and extraordinary personality. She has touched my heart in ways I cannot describe. She always had a way to make me laugh or smile...especially on days that I did not want to laugh or smile. I will never forget those moments and I will forever miss her.

To all who posted and to all who may come across this site, your kind words and memories are very special and i am grateful you would share them with those who knew and loved my mother. I miss her so bad and somehow your words make me feel a little better knowing others loved her as I did.
