Obituary of Michael Jackson Lanier

Michael Lanier, of Hartsville, passed away on June 12, 2010 at age 36. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until service on Thursday. The chapel service, conducted by Chaplain Ed Miller, is 11 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: Donald Hackney, Kerry McClahan, Shawn Herbert, David Adams, James Adams, Bobby Hutchinson, and Tommy Hutchinson. Honorary Pallbearers: Bikers Against Child Abuse. Survivors include wife of 18 years, Sarah Adams Lanier; two children: Kayla and Christopher Lanier; father: Gary (Vicky) Lanier; mother: Wanda Chapman; step-mother: Linda (Troy) Smith; sisters: Connie (Barrett) Hudson, Misty (Jeremy) Byrd, and Christina Platt; brothers: Wayne (Maria) Davidson and Morgan Davis; grandmothers: Mable Fowler and Linda Adams; grandfather: Jessie Chapman; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by grandfather James Lanier.
