Obituary of Dorothy Marie Nivens

Dorothy Nivens, age 78, passed away on January 21, 2014. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until the service on Saturday. The Funeral Service, conducted by Reverend Danny Sellars and assisted by Brother Randy Cook, is 11 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Sellars Funeral Home. Interment in Wilson County Memorial following the service. Pallbearers: Braxton McFarlin, Tyler Nivens, Justin Watson, Paul McFarlin, Michael Nivens, Octavio Perez, T. J. Stephens, and Cameron Kellett. Honorary Pallbearers: Nivens/McFarlin Veterans Home. Mrs. Nivens was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and owner of the Veteran's Home in Lebanon. She is preceded in death by husband Harvey "Red" Nivens, son Philip Nivens, parents Doverd and Anna Massey King, and brother Gordon King. She is survived by son Frazier (Laurie) Nivens; brother: Gwin (Debbie) King; daughter-in-law: Rhonda Nivens; grandchildren: Stacey Nivens-Watson, Tyler Nivens, Yancee Nivens, Jessica Nivens, Michael Nivens, Melanie (Paul) McFarlin, Braxton McFarlin, and Brailey McFarlin; great-grandchild: Ezra Watson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
