Obituary of Charles Frank Cassetty

Frank Cassetty, age 80, passed away on January 1, 2014. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home (313 W. Baddour Pkwy, Lebanon TN) on Friday from 4-8 p.m. The Funeral Service, conducted by Chaplain Judy Gray, is 12 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home (2131 S. Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro TN) with visitation for one hour prior to the service. Interment in John L. Clark Cemetery in Gainesboro immediately following the service. Pallbearers: Tim Stafford, Mike Stafford, Kelly Cassetty, Caleb Stafford, Josh Watson, and Tom James. Frank was born in Jackson County, TN on December 26, 1933. His parents were Braxton and Bessie Cassetty, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his adoring wife of nearly 37 years, Colleen; his darling daughters: Karen Cassetty, Christl (David) Ray, and Katie (Chris) Graves; the joys of his life, grandchildren: David (Maria) Fulcher, Rachel James, Aidan and Zoe Graves, and Summer Ray; and great-granddaughter: Elsie Grace Fulcher. Also surviving are his sister, Robbie (Harold) Chapman, sister-in-law, Jean Curtiss, David Stafford, who was like a brother to Frank, and numerous nieces and nephews. Some of Frank's happiest times were spent flying as a Captain for TWA over 24 years, and his days at the farm. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and a true gentleman. The family will miss him and love him always. The family wishes to thank, especially, all the caregivers at The Gardens in Mt. Juliet for their loving and compassionate care over the last 2? years. You made our journey easier.
