Obituary of Thomas E. Proffett

WILSON COUNTY PROFFETT, Thomas E., age 50 of Mt. Juliet passed away September 3, 2008. Preceded in death by father, Allen Proffett; grandparents, Finley & Elizabeth Proffett and Buck & Evelyn Northcutt. Survived by mother, Grace Wheeler; sisters, Glenda Pingley, Brenda Casey, Lisa Strickland, and Susan Wheeler; brothers, Scott, Ed & Chuck Wheeler; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 7th at 4pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, September 6th from 2 - 8 pm and Sunday, September 7th from 11am - 4 pm.
