Obituary of Swatzell Ruby K. Graham

Ruby Swatzell, 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at University Medical Center in Lebanon TN. She was a member of the Nazarene Church of Greeneville. She was married to Luther Swatzell on January 30, 1948 in Gate City VA by the Rev. R.H. Peters. She retired from Tacoma Hospital after serving as a dietitian for 30-plus years. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Dan Hackett of Lebanon TN; four sons and three daughters-in-law: Ray and Elizabeth Swatzell of Murfreesboro TN and James and Karen Swatzell, Jerry and Ellen Swatzell, and Lloyd and Juanetta Swatzell, all of Greeneville TN; nine grandchildren: Jamie Radford, Billy Ray Swatzell, Connie Mullins, Stacie Burgess, Trey Reynolds, Brian Swatzell, Jennifer Wisecarver, Grace Swatzell, and Jessica Swatzell; and numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Luther Swatzell, parents Bill and Mattie B. Crum Graham, and grandparents Charlie and Nan Graham. The family will receive friends at Kiser-Rosehill Funeral Home in Greeneville TN from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2009 and for one hour prior to service on Saturday. The chapel service is noon on Saturday, April 4, 2009. Interment in Timber Ridge Cemetery.
