Obituary of Thomas Eugene Rittenberry

Thomas Eugene Rittenberry passed away on August 26, 2008 at age 72. The family will be accepting friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon on Wednesday, August 27th from 3-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 2 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2008. Interment in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Carl Tatum, Joe Colliet, Jason Copeland, Jerry Bennett, Brandon E. Reynolds, and Steve Wayne Corley. Survivors include children Patricia Harris of Carthage, Nancy L. Bennett, and Steve W. Corley; step-children: Kim Caldwell, Gerald Chastain, and Fred Chastain; brother: Terry (Nancy) Rittenberry of Carthage; sisters: Tammy Roberts, Maria Burlinson, both of Lebanon, Judy Mahoney of OR, and Peggy Barman of OK; grandchildren: Patricia Linder, Misty Shadix, Jerry Bennett Jr., and Brandon Reynolds; step-grandson: Dustin Phillips; and great-grandchildren: Daniel Shadix, Johnathon Binkley, Michael Binkley, Tristain Shadix, and Jacob Linder. He is preceded in death by parents Thomas Eugene and Mary Lee Whitehead Rittenberry Sr., and mother of children Frances Johnson.
