Candy, you were an inspiration to all of us. You were such a wonderful friend and "adopted mother" (from my mom while she lives in AZ). I have always appreciated everything you do. I cherished your friendship. You were such a good person. We hope you rest in peace now. We are going to miss you so much and that smile you always seem to have on your face. May God hold you in his arms now and take away any pain. We love you so much, Melanie, Lee, Andrew, Zach and (Matthew - yet to be born in March 2012) Perdue

I was so sorry to learn of Candy's death. She was one of the nicest and most thoughtful people I've ever met. She meant the world to me and my family. Our mother spent the last week of her life in Candy's care at Summit Hospital. Candy gave the rest of the family wonderful care, too!

Candy Davies made such an impact on my family...in 2007 our mom was diagnosed with brain cancer. She ended up on the 6th floor at Summit Hospital under Candy's care. Candy not only gave our mom comfort in her final days, but she gave the entire family (about 10 of us who camped out there)more comfort, caring, patience, grace, and love than anyone can expect to receive. We continued to keep in touch after our mom's passing, and Candy continued to comfort and nurture us. Her smile could light up all of Summit for sure. I grieve with everyone else who has lost this very special woman.
