I am so sorry to see this. I was looking for someone else, and this has shocked me. I have talked with this man for many years at kroger. He always was so friendly and helpful. he always helped me pick out my country ham at Christmas. He was a "fixture" at kroger, so he will be terribly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I hope he was not sick long and did not have to suffer. Again, I am so, so sorry.

Good Man !! Always Smiling !! Cut & Bailed my hay for over 25 years. Always managed to get in a chat or a wave from the tractor. My Kroger shopping trip will not be the same, as we managed to get a small chat in then too. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Jeff and family, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad passing. Please know you are in everyone's thoughts and keep in mind that his love will always be with you. Mama worked with him years ago with the Kroger gang and she thought very highly of him. Just like other posts here, she was very particular and always wanted him to help with the family reunion country ham. :-) He knew his stuff and was so kind. We will all miss him.

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Donald's family. I worked with Donnie at Kroger for 8 years back in the 80's and early 90's. I remember him as a hard-working and kind man who loved to farm. I will miss seeing Donnie at Kroger. May God comfort and strengthen the Gannon family today and the days to come.

So sad to hear of the passing of Donnie. I got to know him in the early 80s at the Lebanon Kroger. Always so friendly and a smile on his face. Years later ran across him at Hermitage Kroger, still same smile and friendly words to say. So sad.

This is such sad news to hear about Donnie. Loved seeing him at Kroger. He was willing to help in any way. We always wanted him to pick out our country ham for Christmas. Would slice it to perfection. My Mom and Dad would not get it from anyone but Donnie! He will be greatly missed. You all are in our thoughts and prayers...God Bless!!!

To Jeff, Troy , & the entire Gannon Family: So sorry for the loss of your loved one. I was very fortunate to have worked with Donnie. He was the blueprint of what you would call a hard working man . Not many left like him . He always had a big smile on his face & was a pleasure to talk to. He will be greatly missed. Praying for God to give you the strength during your time of sorrow.

Don was such a hard worker and we have known him for many years. He would always have time to stop and talk before he started cutting hay. His main topic was how proud he was of his sons. He didn't live in the Cedar Grove community but everyone on our road will miss his kind words and smiling face.
