Obituary of Paul Briscoe Shortridge

Mr. Briscoe Shortridge, of Lebanon, passed away on December 21, 2014 at age 89. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Doug Cline, is 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home. Visitation at Sellars is from 11 a.m. until the service. Interment in Christ Church Memorial Gardens, Nashville TN following the service. Pallbearers: Reverend Gordon Lee, Reverend Lloyd Foster, George Johnson, Mac Talbert, Brian Hudgens, and Dalton Isder. Mr. Shortridge is survived by his wife, Margie Shortridge; children: Jean (Clifford) Spence, Martha Salyer, Mary Ann (Don) Shumate, and Pauline (Doug) Cline; grandchildren: Jonathan Spence, David (Dana) Spence, Ryan (Stephanie) Cline, and Teressa (Luke) Green; and great-grandchildren: Kelly Spence, Victoria, Anna, Jack, Abbi, and Emma Cline, Ethan and Grace Green, and Emily and Audrey Spence. He is preceded in death by parents Alden and Rachel Baldwin Shortridge, siblings Dewey, Annon, and Benny Shortridge, Avie Davis, Billy and Faye Shortridge, and son-in-law Tilford Salyer.
