Obituary of Walter Lackey

LACKEY, Walter, age 73 of Brush Creek passed away March 28, 2011. Mr. Lackey was preceded in death by parents, Hugh and Mary Elizabeth Phann Lackey; sister, Betty Flair; and brother, Vester Lackey. He is survived by wife, Judy Lackey; sons, Terry (Wanda) Lackey and Brandon Lackey; daughters, Susan Brunner and Brandi Morgan; grandchildren, Cody Lackey, Phillip Brunner, Hayden Brunner and Heather Stafford; sister, Mabel Jordan; and several nieces. The family extends a special thanks to Mr. Lackey's caregivers, Michelle Bannister, Brenda Whitehead and Janell Benton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31st at 11 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Rev. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will follow the service at Leeville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29th from 4-8 pm, Wednesday, March 30th from 10-2 pm and 4-8 pm, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday, March 31st.
