Obituary of Thelma Marie Blythe

BLYTHE, Thelma Marie, age 82 of Hermitage passed away August 16, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Charles Richard and Mattie Lou Gray; husbands, Marvin Leon Tibbs and Oscar Blythe; son, Tommy Joe Tibbs; daughter, Beverly Diane Bayers; grandsons, Edward H Bayers, III and Michael Wayne Tibbs; and several brothers and sisters. Survived by sons, Mark (Cindy) Tibbs and Wayne Tibbs; grandchildren, Joseph Mark Tibbs, Megan Hope Tibbs, and Sarah Marie Tibbs; great-grandson, Jason Edward Tibbs; brother, Orman Gray; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19th at 11 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Dr. Craig Goff officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, August 18th from 5-8 pm and Friday, August 19th from 10 am until time of service.
