Obituary of Cora M. Lane

LANE, Cora, age 85 of Mt. Juliet passed away September 28, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Larson and Sadie Lane. Survived by son, Hiram (Caroline) Griffin; sister, Mildred Davis; grandchildren, Tina (Bo) Wix, Chris (Sheila) Griffin, Kathie (Kenny) Lewellen, Joseph (Jasmine) Griffin and Joshua Griffin; great-grandchildren, Michael Wix, Kevin Wix, Michael Lewellen, Aaron Lewellen, Brittney Lewellen, Christopher Griffin, Jonathan Griffin and Sofia Griffin; great-great-grandchildren, Riley and Hunter Lewellen; nieces, Frances (Bill) Laney and Judy (Willard) Sullivan; nephew, Mike (Brenda) Davis; and great-niece, Ginger. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 30th at 11 am at Gladeville Baptist Church with Pastor Bruce Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow the service at Leeville Cemetery with Roy Lane, Chris Griffin, Joseph Griffin, Joshua Griffin, Kenneth Lane and Mike Sanders serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 29th from 4-8 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet and Tuesday, September 30th from 10-11 am at the church.
