Obituary of Leroy H. Youngs

Mr. Leroy Youngs passed away on August 2, 2008 at age 61. He was owner of Absolute Protection, a private security company, and was formerly a member of law enforcement with Davidson County. He was a member of the American Legion, the VFW, and the FOP. The family will be accepting friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon on Sunday, August 3, 2008 from 4-8 p.m., on Monday from 2-8, and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: Davidson County Sheriffs Department and the employees of Absolute Protection. Survivors include two children, Angela Dekker and Devin Youngs, both of Lebanon; step-daughter: Dana (Steve) Chapman of Lebanon; step-son: Chuck (Stephanie) Henley of Lebanon; mother: Kay Taylor of Murfreesboro; grandchildren: Rain Wester, Trace Youngs, Lexi Dekker, Chance Pettit, Benjamin Pettit, A.J. Pettit, Tucker Chapman, Eden Henley, and Major Henley; and special friend: Sandra Youngs of Lebanon. He is preceded in death by father James Taylor.
