Obituary of Stella Louise Burton

Mrs. Stella Burton passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at age 70. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2010. The Graveside Service, conducted by Brother Kenneth Bowen, is 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Tyler and Matthew French, Matt Burton, Colby and Curtis Dedmon, David Selby, and William Hughes. The family extends a special thank you to Odyssey Hospice. Survivors include husband of 50 years David Burton; children: Jena Dedmon, Tena Hughes, Stanley "Tooter" (Michele) Burton, and Gary (Shari) Burton; daughter-in-law: Sherry Burton; brothers: Brother Kenneth (Linda) Bowen and J.E. (Lou) Bowen, Jr.; grandchildren: Tara, Matt, Candy, Brandy, Hailey, and Kristin Burton, Courtney Perry, Tyler and Matthew French, David Selby, William Hughes, Colby Dedmon, and Amanda Cripps; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents J.E. and Josephine Crutcher Bowen Sr., son Mike Burton, grandchildren: Kevin Burton and Justin Dedmon and great-grandson Michael Selby.
