Obituary of Douglas M. Tomlinson

Doug Tomlinson, age 72, passed away on April 21, 2014. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Vernon Burrow, is 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 in the chapel at Sellars Funeral Home. Entombment in Wilson County Memorial following the service. Pallbearers: Terry Butler, Bruce Lea, Mathew Neal, Bob Williams, Joesph Garcia, and Tayler Osborn. Honorary Pallbearers: Joe Raines. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to his daughter's memorial fund at Wilson Bank and Trust. Mr. Tomlinson is survived by wife: Patty Tomlinson; children: Tammie (Bruce Lea) Osborn, Cristol Falcon, Lisa (Robert) Thompson, Eugene (Phoebe) Neal, and Presley Jade Tomlinson; grandchildren: Tayler Osborn, Chris Falcon, Kayla Falcon, Kyle Falcon, Joesph Garcia, Brandon Thompson, Chassity Thompson, Mathew Neal, Amber Neal Christmas, and Marshalene Sanders; great-grandchildren: Easton Thompson, Jatn Falcon, Jayla Walton, Evie Grace Sanders, Landon Falcon, Myah Garcia, Hailey Garcia, and Dawson Christmas; and siblings: Albert (Tina) Tomlinson, Regina Chandler, and Jewel Knight. He is preceded in death by son Brian Tomlinson, parents Clarence Herbert and Lera Mangrum Tomlinson, and brothers Clarence Herbert Tomlinson Jr., and William Tomlinson, and sister Betty Tomlinson Foster.
