The first time I met Terry was at Sharon's and my company Christmas party held at our stuffy, "proper" Dutch president's home. Both of us were nervous about the impression our "more down-to-earth" boyfriends would make on this conservative group. We prayed they'd be on their best behavior. Well, they weren't! (Although they tried!) Neither boyfriend had met the other but they bonded instantly. Maybe TOO well as both had a tinge of mischief in them (did I say "tinge"?!). Ask Sharon about the peach cobbler incident or how they managed to sneak out of the house only to have to ring the front doorbell to be let back in. But by the end of the night, Terry had endeared himself to everyone there! He brought LIFE to the party. In fact, he MADE the party!! But that was how Terry was - full of life...BIGGER than life! Every moment since that day way back in the 80's that I spent with Terry was pure joy and fun! I can't think of another person I've ever met in my entire life that had as grand a presence just walking into a room. Just the thought of him brings a huge smile to my face and in my heart. I love you Terry!!! You will be so greatly missed. How you have touched us all and touched everyone you met!! The world seems to have a silence about it now. The sun shines a little less brightly. The wind carries a sigh. Peace, my friend, and thank you for the honor of knowing you!

In grammer school we use to go to the mens room and see who could punch each other in the arm until someone gave up. Him and I use to have such long talks outside Goodtime Charlies in Kingston. Again I cant believe Im reading this. Even in High School we remained friends which kept the bullies off of me because they didnt want to deal with Terry knowing he was a friend of mine.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just thought of him about a week ago and have not seen him in 40 years. We use to laugh so much in grammer school that we use to get in trouble all the time for goofing off. Cant believe this happened.... What Happened ?
