Obituary of Bernita Arlene Martin

Bernita Arlene Martin, age 80, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at her residence in Benton Ridge OH. Graveside Service is 1 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010, Wilson County Memorial Gardens, Lebanon TN. Mrs. Martin was born March 30, 1930 to the late John Lewis and Mertie May Nutter Bracy in Benton Ridge OH. She married Jimmy Ray Martin on June 11, 1956 and he preceded her in death on January 4, 1990. She worked many years at the Lebanon Democrat. Survivors include two sons: James Daniel Martin of Findlay OH and Jeffery Thomas Martin of Lebanon TN; grandsons: Josh (Crystal) Martin, Jason Burton, and Austin Burton; great-grandchildren: Aspen, Kennadi, and Monroe Martin; 7 sisters: Violet MaGee, Leota Goodluck, Donna Lou Bowser, Lulabell Bracy, and Fern (Ray) Dunlap all of Benton Ridge OH, Dorothy Adams of Summit MS, and Imelda (Conrad) Siferd of Bloomdale OH; special relatives: Darrell Burton and Willy Burton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by son John R. Foreman, best friend Sir Roman Romeo, two brothers, four brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law.
