Obituary of Christopher Alan Callas

Dear Friends: It was our Lord Jesus himself who said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest." Let us pray, then, for our brother, Chris, that he may rest from his labors and enter into the light of God's eternal Sabbath rest. Age 53, of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away December 25, 2011 after a long and courageous battle against cancer. Chris was a longtime employee of Sunbeam Bakery and Akzo Nobel in Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death his by mother, Carol Callas and sister, Sandy. Survived by his loving wife, Gail; daughter, Elizabeth; son, Kevin (Dawn) Callas; grandchildren, Blake and Scarlett; father, George Callas; brothers, Pete and Dan; sisters, Kathy and Sue; and loving canine companions, Molly and Bart. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 31st at St. Philips Episcopal Church, 85 Fairway Dr, Donelson, TN, with family visitation following the service. Final interment will follow at Mount Juliet Memorial Gardens, � mile off Mt. Juliet Road on W. Division Street.
