Obituary of Leon Reece

Leon Reece passed away on February 12, 2011 at age 65. He was a licensed contractor and an avid APHA breeder and trainer. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 12-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15th and from 2 p.m. until the service on Wednesday. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Roger Grisham, Reverend Danny Tomlinson, and Jason Toporowski, is 4 pm. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Honorary Pallbearers: Billy Price, Raymond Harris, Lee Gessner, Ricky Reece, Stevie Reece, Ronny Reece, Gary Reece, Charles Taylor, Pete Norman, and Danny Richardson. A Celebration with dinner and bluegrass music will take place at Leon Reece"s residence (642 Ben Green Rd, Lebanon TN) immediately following the service on Wednesday. Memorial Contributions: St. Jude Children"s Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105) in the name of Leon Reece with his address. Survivors include wife Brenda White; children: Brandy (Duane) Turner, Bryan (Tonya) Jennings, Kelly (Garry) Greer, and Roman White; sister: Dot (Buddy) Barbee; brother: William (Peggy) Reece; grandchildren: Josie Jennings, Gabe Greer, Hannah Jennings, Rylee Greer, Breanna Turner, Gavin Turner, and Sophie Greer; nieces and nephews: Angie Cole, Scott Barbee, Jeanalee Topper, Ricky Reece, and Stevie Reece; numerous extended family members and special friends: Lidia and Ramon Contreras and Jenny and Flipe Contreras. Mr. Reece is preceded in death by parents Carl and Annie Meador Reece, and nephews Scottie Reece and Kenny Barbee.
