Glenda, I am so sorry that you have to go through this. Everyone loves Fred and the entire Williams family. I never knew your son but I have heard you speak of him so tenderly through the years and my heart aches for you. I will always remember Fred with a smile on his face marching in the Veterans Day Parade rounding the square in front of the Chamber! He was so proud. We love you and will be here for you. Skip & Hiwanda Gaerte

I can remember as a young kid riding up Coles Ferry Pike to the Williams old home place before Fred & my Dad played baseball together on Sunday afternoons in Laguardo. Then their baseball days turned into playing softball.

Fred, you were always like a little brother to me. I enjoyed the deep conversations that we had. Your intellect made them memorable to me. I know you are at home with Jesus. I love you.

I remember my uncle Fred as a strong, athletic, kind man. he always encouraged me to sing.he and my aunt Glenda , and my first friend, their daughter Rhonda, were always my favorite part of going to family gatherings. I remember him hugging me at my father's recent funeral(John T Williams), and how moved he was by the loss of his brother. He was a good man, and will be greatly missed.
