Obituary of Darnell James Akin

Jimmy Darnell passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at age 76. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon on Monday, December 8, 2008 from 11 a.m. until service. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Timothy Houk, is at 4 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2008. Survivors include four daughters: Vickey (Donnie) Hubbard, Cynthia (Timothy) Houk, Charlene (Davis) Ingram, and Lisa (Mike) Darnell; two sons: Steven (Amanda) Darnell and Floyd "Blackey" Darnell; brothers: Thomas "Duck" Darnell, Johnny Darnell, William "Bubba" Darnell; sisters: Betty Woodall, Brenda Duggar, and Sherry Huff; 12 grandchildren: and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents James A. and Margaret Arms Darnell Sr., son James Mitchell Darnell, brothers Bobby, Richard, Charles "Red", and Tony Darnell, sisters Jane and Mary Frances Darnell.
