Ms Ruthie, Your are so badly missed and thought of daily. You were a sweet spot in an often grey world. There is just a bit less light since you left us. But oh, how heaven must glow!! Keep us in your heart and spirit until once again we are reunited and let us always remember your courage and laughter in difficult times.
Your memory will always warm our hearts. Ever blessed to have known you and be your friend, Janet

I have had the chance to be around with my grandmother my whole life . We share same first names .My mother was her oldest daughter; Helen . I used to go live with her during the summer months and we would spend alot of time with her teaching me how to sew and gardening and cook. Plus she had a very big heart ; there wasnt anything she would not do to help some one if she could . I remember when she got her drivers license ; she passed the driving test and then when she got home she hit a plum tree when she pulled into her drive way and she justed laughed about it . She was truly a beautiful lady and will be sadly missed by all who loved her very much . She had her kids and grandkids and great grandkids and then great great grandkids She has her angel wings now and will live always in our hearts and memories . God Bless you grandma we shall miss you you very much . Now you can relax and sing and play your gutiar and sing for jesus our bless lord

I remember going to visit Grandma Ruth while she lived in Marietta, Ohio. She used to live right next to a graveyard and it would freak my dad out! I remember helping her cook fried chicken in her small kitchen and she used to have a chicken coop! My children, her great great grandchildren didn't get to meet her sadly, but they will know who she was! I love you Grandma Ruth and you will be truly missed by all who knew you. I am glad to have been a part of your life in your "Temporary Home"! Enjoy being at home with Jesus!

We were so fortunate to be able to visit with Gramma Jarvis in Tucson for a while. Her great-grand children Diana and Rachel have fun memories of her at Auntie B's! She lived an amazing life. Very blessed with lots of family. From her stories and stories from others it sounds like she lived life to the fullest - did a lot things many never try. She had a great laugh! I am sad that her great-great grandsons Jayce and Gavin didn't get to meet her. I have a picture of her on a table that we'll tell them about her. We will cherish the little cabin and applehead people she made! She was one of a kind and we miss her!
