My thoughts and prayers are with you David as well as Cody.I know how much Velma loved watching Cody play baseball, she will continue to be watching from above. I myself have lost a loves one to this terrible disease she was only 30 and only knew 43 days until she lost her battle she was my beatiful sister.Time is all that will get you threw.

As little girls, my daughters, Shelley & Bobbie Sue learned to love Velma and Velvet, and Joanie who kept them. They loved to go to her mom's and play, and were always made to feel so loved. Ms Liddle as the kids called her was a true gem and loved her job and was so good to all the children. My three children were blessed to have had her as their PE teacher. She was my P.E. teacher at Walter J. Baird and I remember just how sweet and passionate she was. She really loved to teach and she was an inspiration. She is truly a beautiful angel and she will be missed!
