Over the many years of getting to know each of them while involved with the racing at the Nashville Fairgrounds certainly made my life much richer. Mr. Earheart leaves many great memories for each of us and his loving family will continue the great traditions and love of life he has shown throughout his years. My thoughts and prayers to John and the family. Three things I will always remember. 1) Allen always called it like he saw it, 2) It was okay to disagree with him, but you probably were not going to change his mind and 3) I always needed to keep an extra pair of tickets for him, no matter what radio show or station I was working at. People make this sport great, and Allen did his part! One more hole that cannot be filled.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Earheart family as well as the Nashville racing family of which the Earhearts are such a big part of. I'm thankful to have been able to witness the great amount of pride that John Sr. displayed after one of John's wins last season. He proudly proclaimed that was "His Boy!" that won. There's no greater accomplishment in life than making your father proud, except raising a child that you can be proud of....Mission accomplished,They both won !

My condolences go out to the Earheart family. He will be missed. John never gave an inch on the track, and if you wanted it, he made sure you would earn it. He wasnt about to give it up without a fight. I sure he gave a brave fight with his illness also. GODBLESS.
