Obituary of Thomas Amos

AMOS, Thomas, age 70 of Mt. Juliet passed away March 27, 2014. Funeral service for Mr. Amos will be Monday, March 31st at 1pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Susan Badley officiating. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, March 30th from 4-8 pm and Monday, March 31st from 9 am until time of service. Mr. Amos was preceded in death by parents, William and Melvina Amos; grandson, Benjamin Michael James Smith; and several brothers and one sister. He is survived by wife of 30 years, Patricia "Patsy" Amos; children, James (Kathy) Cole, Penny (Leo) LaRose, Peggy (Michael) Smith, Tammy Chalk, Renee Hardy and Sandra (Bill) Daugherty; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, De Winesett and Ann (Kevin) Runion; and brothers, Jack (Debbie) Amos and Sphar (Diane) Amos.
