Obituary of Chapman William Robert

Bill Chapman passed away on May 25, 2009 at age 84. Mr. Chapman was a World War II veteran and a retired Chief Petty Officer of the U.S. Navy. "Daddy Bill" was to his children and grandchildren and to all who knew him first and foremost a GIVER. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family will be accepting friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon on Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m. Graveside Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. Members of the Fleet Reserve Association of Middle Tennessee will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Survivors include son Wayne Chapman; step-sons Gary Clemmons and Rusty Waller; step-daughters: Edith McKensie, Becky LeMay; brother Fred Chapman; sisters Martha Ayers and Anne Hart; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by wife Estelle Chapman, parents Archie Pruitt Chapman and Vivian Chapman, daughter Lori Sloan, and step-son James Clemmons. Sellars Funeral Home, 313 W.
