I am at a Loss. I feel as if I lost a Brother. What a Gentle Soul. Marshall was always there when I needed him and I tried to be there for him. We had fun, hunting, working, EATING, Joking and at HIS best Bartering:) Never forget when hunting not long ago, I got a deer, and took a shot at a second one at the same time. I was sure I missed the second. As I was working on the first, in no time Marshall walks out with the second deer, drops it in front of me, already cleaned and then hands me the Bullet I hit it with. Wow, I was amazed at the speed he did it. So many memories. I miss that Big Ole Boy, I Love Him. Our Father in Heaven, Have Mercy and Care for Him.

I met Marshall a few years back through Clay Weeks, a mutual friend of ours. The 3 of us would occasionally meet up for lunch or dinner, or sometimes just to chat in a local parking lot. I had the pleasure of meeting him with his wife and baby girl for dinner a while back. We would occasionally text or email each other as well. I only knew him for a few years but he was always smiling, always quick to talk about his family and hobbies, and he seemed to always be very confident in his plans for the future. It was a shock to hear of his passing, and I only wish that we could have gotten to know each other better. Yet I am sure that the Lord has a plan for him, and I will say special prayers for comfort and peace to come to his family and friends that are left behind. May God rest his soul, and may we all be reunited in Heaven one day, no doubt to see Marshall waiting with that big grin on his face. Rest in peace brother.

We will always remember Marshall as someone who could always make you laugh and who was always smiling. A UT fan who was fun to talk football with. We always looked forward to seeing Marshall at family gatherings to hear his jokes. He will be greatly missed but we are thankful we knew him & that he became a part of our family when he married Adrienne. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
