Ruble met Curtis in 1988 when he first applied for a job at MBCI. Ruble had taken a drug test and he told Ruble he failed the test. Of course he was joking, but Ruble thought he was serious. When Ruble moved to outside sales and we moved to Florida, Curtis was there looking out for us. Curtis was a dear sweet man who would do anything he could for you. Curtis was always smiling and he always called me little'n everytime he saw me. You were a good friend and Ruble and I will surely miss you. May God Bless your family and give them comfort and strength in the days and weeks to come.

I will always remember Curt Mabry not by Mr. Mabry or Curt but by Paha like his grandchildren called him. That was all I called him. I will miss the conversations we had as we stood at each others property lines. We talked about anything and everything. There wasn't a day that went by that if he saw me he would throw up his hand and say "Hey little n'. I will miss seeing him have his regular routine of watering every plant and tree he had planted while driving the golf cart. The last conversation we had was about the horse he purchased and the joy he said it brought to him to watch the kids and Tracy with it. He was a very kind man and very humble and definitely didn't take life for granted. We will miss you Paha but God is very lucky to have you.
