Brenda, Steve was a fine gentleman and he will be missed greatly. When I heard of his passing the only thing that came to mind was Billy Joel's song "Only the Good Die Young". Brenda I am so saddened to hear of Steve's passing. He looked so full of life on Thursday night when I saw him. I always admired Steve's wonderful dentistry. He was an excellent clinician and such an ardent lifelong student. He will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to you, Paul, Stephanie, and your office family.

My thoughts and prayers go to the family and staff. I will miss Dr. T so much. He was the best dentist ever and great to work for. But most of all he was just an amazing man. I will miss his humor and laugh. He was taken way too soon.

I remember being Steve & Brenda"s first patient when they opened their practice in Lebanon. I remember how Steve would hum when he was treating his patients. We'll miss you Steve.

Doc always made my visits to him an enjoyable experience no matter what he was doing in my mouth. He hummed a ditty or two, and we would trade quips. He was gentle, kind and a perfectionist at his work. I will miss him.

I never met a more caring person both professionally and personally.He made my experience for dental visits a delight.i always enjoyed his soothing voice,and talking about old westerns while he worked his majic.Everytime I smile I will remember Doc.,God bless him and be with Brenda and his family in their time

Dr. Thaxton will be missed tremendously. His wonderful, soothing voice always calmed my dental fears. How many times he has had me laughing in the chair, and I knew I could close my eyes and relax, and listen to him hum as he worked. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this very sad and difficult time and we pray that God gives them peace and comfort.

Dr. T. had such a wonderful sense of humor and was the BEST dentist I have ever known. Having worked with him I cherish the memories of office trips, meetings, and especially the cruise he was so generous to take us on. His straw hat, Hawaiian shirt, dark glasses, and a cigar in his mouth always brought a smile to my face!!! I will miss you Dr. T.

Oh Doc, how you will be very missed!! I have been a patient of Dr. Thaxton and Mrs.Brenda since I was 4 yrs old and when I had my kids there was no question in my mind of who I was going to trust to take care of them. I knew that Dr. Thaxton, Mrs. Brenda and their staff would take care of my kids just as they had taken care of me. I will truly miss listening to Doc hum and whistle while he works. He always had a smile on his face.There will never be another Dr. Thaxton!! Mrs. Brenda, Paul and Stefanie, you all are in my prayers during this difficult time.

Brenda, my heart goes out to you. Steve was a great husband and father, as well as a wonderful dentist. Lonnie and I will miss him terribly. We've been patients for about 40 years now. You and he, along with Debbie and your team, have been a blessing to us in so many ways. You all always treat your patients like you would want to be treated yourself. We will miss Steve terribly for now but will look forward to seeing him again!
