Obituary of Gerald Goins

GOINS, Gerald, age 72 of Mt. Juliet passed away February 18, 2013. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 21st at 11 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. August Ruff officiating and Milton Jones assisting. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Larry Walker, George Page, Jr., Ronald Mason, Billy Goins, Paul Goins and Gama Crisostomo serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are: Dwayne Page, Bubba Cole, Dennis Page and David Goins. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, February 20th from 2-8 pm and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Mr. Goins was preceded in death by parents, Sam & Ollie Goins; sister, Francis Creech; brothers, Charlie Goins, Willard Goins, Curtis Goins and Jessie B. Goins. He is survived by son, Keith (Tina) Johnson; daughter, Michelle "Mickie" (Kenneth) Andrews; sisters, Mary Alice Davis, Elsie Mason, Ruth Cole, Betty Sue Walker and Mildred (George, Sr.) Page; brothers, Bill (Shirley) Goins, "Boots" Joe Goins, Rayford (Dianne) Goins, Harold (Annette) Goins and Kenneth Wayne Goins; grandchildren, Misti (Billy) Duenez and Thomas (Jennifer) Andrews; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Brianna Andrews; and numerous nieces and nephews.
