I just found out that you passed away. You are in a better place now. You will be missed. Thank you for always caring about my daughter, Aurora, and putting her first in everything, and especially in her adult years when you were there for her with only a phone call away. I read how you were in Afghanistan. So proud of you going back into the Army and being a part of the Special Forces there. I think of your parents often and your sister. Thank you for making my life special during hard times. I will always remember how you loved being an MP at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Farewell my friend...sleep well

Just missing you. There are so many thoughts rolling around in my head now that Ron is gone too. I miss our emails, and knowing that you were always out there so I could share my thoughts. There is a big void in my life where your presence used to be. We may not have worked married, but we sure had the friendship part down. I miss you big guy.

Gary and I knew each other in high school and he was a very nice Guy. We became closer around our 35th anniversary of our graduation. After that we corresponded quite often while he was in Kabul. I told him over and over to be careful and he always said he was. He loved what he was doing and it brought him a lot of happiness. I am so sorry that he didn't come back for our 40th graduation anniversary. I had not heard from him for several months and I kept trying to contact him via his e mail account. I was so sorry to hear today that he had died. Please know that Gary was a great friend and a nice guy. He will be sadly missed in the Marion Community. May God be with you all and give you peace.

To Gary's family, I wanted to say that I'm sorry for your loss at Gary's passing. I knew him from a favorite friendship website I've been visiting for years, and he was a very nice person. I had put his photo in a short film I made about the website; a photo of him during his time of service. It looked great.
I just wanted to let you know that Gary had friends from all over. He touched many lives.
Best regards,

Gary was a very caring and sharing man. He always was willing to help anytime I needed him. He even hauled all my daughters things up to college in Indiana since I did not have a pick up. Gary will be missed.

We have some fond memories of Gary along with Jennifer with him. My granddaughter, Jennifer Carol Jones, was very fond of her "Uncle Gary" and he did some special things for her.

I have a lot of memories of Gary coming up to College station while Leila and I were living together. I am thinking about you guys. Any loss is hard, but sudden losses are sometimes harder to grasp. I hope that you find peace in the fact that Gary lived a great life.
