Obituary of Elease Cripps

Elease Cripps passed away on January 7, 2010 at age 75. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2010 and on Sunday from noon until service. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Mike Christian, is 2 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2010. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: Andy Clayborne, Sammy McKinney, Derrel Reese, Tommy Edwards, David Chadwick, Jason Ligon, Wayne Ligon, and Marcus Sumners. Survivors include two sons: Ricky (Doris) Cripps, and Sid (Jan) Cripps; grandchildren: Charlie (Mandy) Cripps, Cale (Heather Martin) Cripps, Brad (Shandi) Cripps, and Claire Cripps; brother: William "PeeWee" Davenport; sisters: Maxine Bowers and Robbie Sanders; and 3 great-grandchildren: Brett, Brice, and Cody Cripps. She is preceded in death by husband Charles Cripps, brothers Homer and U.C. Davenport, and sisters Velma Wilkerson and Thelma Mathis.
