Obituary of Martha Alice Rich Davis

DAVIS, Martha Alice Rich, January 22, 1948 � February 4, 2012, graduated from Mt. Juliet High School in 1966. She was Ms Lebanon Jaycee in 1963 and Miss Wilson County Fairest of the Fair in 1964. Ms Davis retired from the State of TN in 2009. She was a member of the Green Street church of Christ and resided in Old Hickory with her daughter. Ms Davis was preceded in death by father, Albert Rich, Jr. and husband, James Robert Davis. She is survived by best friend and granddaughter, Terralyn Kate Rice of Old Hickory; daugther, Robin Lyn Rice, of Old Hickory; son, Robert (Ester) Browning of Cebu, Philippines; mother, Grace Rich of Mt. Juliet; siblings, Linda (Edward) Hardaway of Mt. Juliet, Ricky Gill (Audrey) Rich of Murfreesboro, Wanda (Ray) Paley of Brentwood, and Mary Ruis of Mt. Juliet; son-in-law, Terrance L. Rice of MS; sisters-in-law, Dvonia Yates and Mary Lisa (Doug) Stanley; brother-in-law, Charles "Bubba" Davis; grandchildren, Jamal Browning of Denver, CO and Sally (Drew) MacNicholas of Denver, CO; great-grandson, Liam MacNicholas of Denver, CO; 10 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews; 2 great-great nieces; special friend, Charlene Richardson of Lebanon; and two special angels, Loryn Kelley and Malena James of Mt. Juliet. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, February 8th from 4-8 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 9th at 11 am at the Nashville National Cemetery, 1420 Gallatin Pike S, Madison, TN with Bro. Tom Tignor officiating. Pallbearers: Terrance Rice, Chris Kinnard, Doug Stanley, Nick Reese and Stewart Ruis. Honorary pallbearers: Mt. Juliet High School class of 1966.
