Obituary of J. L. Warren

WARREN, J. L., passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at his residence at the age of 86. He was a Baptist and a Deacon with the Baptist Church. He was a navy Veteran that served in WWII. He is preceded in death by wife, Adele Leone Warren; parents, H. E. and Katherine Bounds Warren; and daughters, Vicky and Yvonne Warren. He is survived by daughter, Mary (Ernie) Fenn; grandchildren, Susan Smiley-White, Casey Milliken, and Travis Lee Smiley; great-grandchildren, Shyanne White, Kimy White, and Jasmyn Milliken; sister, Jolene Wright; and brother, Billy Hugh (Janice) Warren. Services will be Friday, November 27th at 2pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Larry Dearth officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are: M. C. Rather, Jimmy Lackey, Oako Hamblin, Jerry Beasley, and Billy Cook.
