I use to baby sit for my Brother Carl, and Sister-in-law, Ruth. I remember when Patsy was a baby, and she was such a sweet baby, and she hardly ever cried. Over the years she has shared with me her love for God and her desire to serve him and please him. She is finally at peace and I will always treasure the emails, conversation, and the times I was able to visit her. Patsy children and grand children will continue to be in my prayers. I remember when Patty, Ryan & Chad played a prank on my Mom & me when Ryan & me were about 5 or 6. They placed a fake leg in the back of our truck & my Mom made me go see what it was. I must have got about 10 feet from the truck then I took off running when I realized it was a leg. I can only imagine how hard Patty, Ryan & Chad were laughing when they saw that!!!

I recall the happy years. You were astute, talented, athletic and of course beautiful. I was always your bossy sister...(who needed therapy when you always had me telling you what to do?) It is a mess down here. Internationally, nationally, even your ex (sperm donor) husband contacted (harassed) me...

Patsy, we have known each other since seventh grade. We have had many great times through the years. We both helped each other through some very difficult times! July the 29th twenty five years ago you introduced me to the Man of my Dreams, Kenneth Brown a year after we married! I have thanked you many times over the years for that special day, in fact one of the last times we were together you said to me "seeing you so happy and knowing that I had a small part of it gives me such a warm feeling inside"
I will miss you terribly ever time I look at my family I will think of you! My regret is that I didn't try harder to keep up with you better the last year or so, I guess I thought there will always be tomorrow! I am praying for her family and friends!

Mom, I am writing this to honor your memory and I have to be perfectly honest losing you so soon is too difficult to handle. I really didn't realize how much it would hurt and then still have to do so many things in such a short time. There really are no words that can express how much things have changed since last Thursday. I understand that what I am writing is also going to be able to be seen publicly, so I will not give specifics but I know that you already know what has all been happening for a short time time now. Tiffany has been much more than helpful the past few days for really taking on so many daunting responsibilities that we were neither prepared for nor had prior experience in. Your grandchildren miss you so badly. On Thursday night I went over to your home with Gage and Gavin to find all the paperwork that we needed to know your final wishes. Gavin and Gage did play with some of their toys off and on, but Gavin would often stop suddenly whatever he was doing and go to your room and just look at the pictures in there of you and the family. Gage organized all of the little letter/word refrigerator magnets and put "I miss you G" on your white board. He wants me to let you know that the "G" stands for "GG" because he couldn't find another letter G. Gage and Gavin have both taken this really hard, Tiffany tells me that they are being very strong for me, and they are. Still though last night, out of nowhere I heard Gage just breakdown and start crying and Tiffany was so strong for him and is helping all the kids through this very well. She tells me that they try to not let me see them cry because they want to be strong for me. I still know that I have to get it together for them because they need me right now just as much as I need you. Tiffany has had many moments too, and we both try to be strong for each other. I want you to know that your are sorely missed and whole-heartedly loved! You will be honored and brought home with dignity. LLL!

Patsy was such a wonderful cousin, we had so much in common and got to be close friends over the past decade. I will miss her very much. Until we meet in Heaven dear one! Godspeed.
