Obituary of Waldon Lavon Gaither

Waldon Gaither, age 80, passed away on September 27, 2013. He was a member of the Adams Avenue Church of Christ and was a long time employee of TRW. The Funeral Service is 3 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2013 at Adams Avenue Church of Christ. Visitation at the church is from 9 a.m. until the service. Interment in Wilson County Memorial immediately following the service. Pallbearers: Gary Bush, Raymond Jones, Larry Driver, Phillip Maynard, Frankie Dies, Travis Gaither, Rick Baird, and Adam Davis. Honorary Pallbearers: Elders and Deacons at Adams Avenue Church of Christ, Hasper Carey, and Sr. Bowling League. Survivors include children: Jackie (Malinda) Gaither, Debbie Baird, and Christy Eakes; brothers: Tommy (Ordway) Gaither and James (Donna) Gaither; grandchildren: Rick (Jessica) Christy (Adam) Davis, Katlin Eakes, and Travis Gaither; great-grandchildren: Malachi Davis, Makenzy Davis, and Ethan Baird; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by wife Delina Gaither, parents Arthur and Etta Murphy Gaither, brother Leonard Gaither, and sisters Wynonna Hibdon, Christine Ash, and Irene Lorance.
