I would like to send you a prayer with love. I just found out about Uncle Jim's death and my kids and I would like to send our condolences. The last time I had talked with him it was when my mom died (Edith Deffendall). I will always remember how special you made me feel when I was a little girl, and making my summer fun-filled. I am sorry to hear about James Deffendall he was my dads cousin. My father Ralph neil Deffendall was related to an Ben, orb and Ottis Deffendall? My father told me we had some family here in TN, he was from Petersburg Indiana-Germany way back we lived in CA the moved to TN. I am sure we are distant relatives somewhere on the family tree Deffendall is not that common. My grandmother was Martha Irene Deffendall she had some brothers and sisters, but I never new them. Would be interested to know if this is an conection to the family?

To Alice and the Family, Even though it has been awhile sense we've seen all of you I am sorry for your loss. Mr. Jim and my dad were very close during the time they worked together at Texas Eastern and I think about all of those Christmas days my family spent at your home. Our prayers are with you all.
