Shirley Harper Andrews Holmes is my mama, and I would sometimes see Judy and Conald at the restaurant. You have been good friends to my mama and Shep, and I thank you for that. I mostly remember Conald as a very young man, helping his Mama and Daddy on their farm there in Lafayette. I was a city girl and only got to come to Aunt Myrtle's and Uncle Othelle's a week or two in the summer. They were neighbors of Quentin and Annadean and good, good friends. Conald was always so nice to me and my sister, Reba, but I mostly remember what a great son he was to his parents. You could just see how much he loved his family. I'm so glad he is in heaven now...and I am so thankful that we will see him again some day. God bless you, Ms. Judy...You are in my prayers.
