Obituary of Kindell Manion

Kindell Lane "Goat" Manion, age 47of Columbia, TN, and formerly of Lafayette, TN passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral Services for Kindell Manion were conducted Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Walter Andrews and Brother Ronnie Holland officiating. Max Manion, Sonny Taylor, Richie Manion, Jr. Shockley, Andy Sliger, Brandon Davis, and Kyle Joseph served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Galen Cemetery. Kindell Lane Manion was born October 29, 1964 to Loyd Manion and Virginia King Manion. His stay here on earth was 47 years, 3 months, and 20 days. He is survived by wife, Crystal Manion, son, Dusty Manion, parents, Loyd and Virginia King Manion, brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Tammy Manion, sister and brother-in-law, Shelley and Andy Sliger, two step-daughters, Jessica and husband Kyle Joseph and Sarah Corn, future son-in-law, Brandon Davis, mother-in-law, Kay Rudolph, sister-in-law, Beverly and husband Faron Matlock, brother-in-law, Dean and wife Pallie Jenkins, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and family. Kindell taught automotive class at Hartsville Vocational Career Center for a few years. For the last He met and fell in love with Crystal Paulette Jenkins, and they were married on May 24, 2008. Kindell was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. Nothing pleased him more than to go hunting with his son and brother. He always had something to say about the sports of hunting and fishing. Kindell also enjoyed traveling and going to the ocean. He was saved as a young boy and joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained a member. Kindell will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but our loss is heavens gain. He is at rest with his beloved grandparents, Emmett and Mildred King, Leon and Lorene Manion and his Uncle, Tom King. Alexander Funeral Home, Directors, in charge of arrangements.
