Although I did not know Brother Loryn personally, I enjoyed many many gospel music recordings that were made at this studio. I enjoyed the Tennessee Harmoneers singing, along with many others he recorded including The Patterson Family and The Tomes Four. His contribution to gospel music no doubt influenced others as well, as it did me and helped my interest in gospel music, both performing and writing, to grow. May the Lord bless his memory and give comfort to his family.

So sorry to hear of Chief Atwell's passing. I enjoyed our conversations at many meetings and conferences with The Tennessee Fire Chiefs Association. Chief Atwell did make a difference in the Fire Services across Tenn. by his respected leadership and his interests for the fire services. He was well respected with high moral and Christian values. May the LORD above give each of you comfort, peace and strength for today and the days to come. R.I.P. CHIEF!!

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Loryn's passing. I always remember him letting me and my brother climb on the fire trucks when daddy was finishing up paperwork. He enjoyed what he did and was just a great man. May God Bless.

Wynona & Melinda & Family: I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Atwell. I knew you both back in school for years & your mom from the drugstore but only recently got to know your dad while he & Daddy were at the nursing home together. He was such a delight & so sharp & became such a wonderful friend to & influence on my sweet daddy. The world is a lesser place without those two in it but heaven has gotten even better! I pray for God to wrap you in His loving arms & give you the supernatural kind of comfort, joy & peace that can only come from Him during this painful time. May your heart be joyfully filled with wonderful, loving memories of your father that sustain your through this trying time.

Paul and I have many fond memories of Loryn and Virginia. They were dedicated and faithful church members. We enjoyed their friendship, especially during the ten years Paul served as their pastor.
May God bless each of you.
