The only sympathy I have (is not) for james Chitwood, but for Samantha "Sam" Shrum, the beloved daugther and sister of the Shrum family, that was shot by James Chitwood on April the 11th of 2002 and died from the results of this senseless act of cruelty on August the 31st of 2011. The ironic thing about it was, Samantha was born the day Chitwood died, (May the 19th of 1983)! Is that karma or what? Rest in peace, our little angel P.S. May April South get off for defending her life!

I went to see you but it just wasn’t the same. The warm loving smile with a lot to say was now silent. James you was a good hearted man, who would help anyone and never pass judgment. I can’t be selfish over the fact that you left us to soon cause in the end, you help 7 others live on. You will be shinning down on us every day, leaving us with wonderful memories. We may not share the same blood but we were family and you will always be my family…. There be a day when we meet again to have our catch up chats… just higher above in a much better place.
