So sorry to hear the news about David. A mutual friend of David's from back in her "childhood" days (Teresa Bean Roberts) contacted us today. (Fri.) She is very sad over the loss of an old friend. Although they hadn't stayed in contact very often over the years, she said she'd last had contact about a month ago on Facebook. We used to see David around RBS when we were all much younger! He and my husband hung out with another mutual friend. (Jack Roberts) I used to hear talk about Leonard Cave. Although I didn't know him as well as the others did, I liked David and wanted to let you know we are thinking of him and those who cared about him. With our sympathy, Larry & Pat Rush

To the entire family,
No words can adequately express my condolences to you, or express the sense of loss that so many like myself are feeling at this time. All through school, he was always one of my favorites--the laid back good looking 'Dude' that minded his own business, created no drama, but let you know that he was your 'Friend'...and remained a good Friend, I suspect, to us all through the years. Although sometimes a decade would pass between us getting a chance to visit, he made it feel like it was just yesterday--and yes, that same 'laid back good looking Dude' would shine that sly smile when filling me in about his growing family, and we'd say, "Hope to see you next time..." It's NEVER easy to say Goodbye, especially this time--too soon, way too soon. Thinking of you, and praying that the strength of family and those who called David 'Friend', will help get you through this difficult time.

David was a good and kind man and I will always remember the fun times we had on horseback rides a few years ago. I still would get to talk to him when he dropped off packages where I work.He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to David's family. I have many great memories and photographs in the few years that I was fortunate enough to know and love David. Please know that although I am unable to be there physically, I am there with you all in spirit and David will always hold a special place in my heart. David, you will always be "My Cowboy".
