Obituary of Reeda Marion

Reeda Mae Gaulden Marion was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 20, 1930 to Aubrey and Martha Rippy Gaulden. On February 21, 1948, Reeda was united in marriage to Lattie E. Marion sharing fifty-eight years together. They raised two daughters and two sons in the Mt. Union Community in Allen County, Kentucky. Lattie preceded her in death on April 6, 2006. Reeda was a housewife who loved quilting. She also made Ceramics and enjoyed just doing crafts in general. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Besides her husband and parents, one daughter, Rhonda Kay Marion also preceded her in death. Reeda was a member of Mt. Union United Methodist Church. On September 15, 2013 at the age of 83, the Lord called Reeda to her new home. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Funeral services for Reeda Marion will be conducted Wednesday, September 18th from the Mt. Union United Methodist Church in Allen County in Kentucky with Reverend Chuck Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Union Cemetery. Ms. Reeda is survived by; Daughter and Son-in-law, and Darlene (Larry) Cooper, Son and Daughter-in-law, Roger (Yvette) Marion, Son, Gary Marion and Victoria Gatewood, companion, Grandchildren, Jana Marion, Paul Marion, Phillip Jordan and Renee Larkin, Great Grandchildren, Lattie Roe Larkin, Addison King, and Ella and Tucker Jordan.
