Obituary of Connie Gregory

Connie Gregory was born on March 2, 1952 to the late Bernice Nelson Reece and Virginia Faye Key Sircy. She was one of seven siblings. Besides Connie's parents; sister, Marti Sircy also preceded her in death. On July 27, 1985, Connie was married to Clarence "Moody" Gregory, sharing twenty-eight years together. Connie has two sons, Corey and Cody that she cherished. She worked as a Beautician for over forty years. Connie styled hair at Paulette's Beauty Villa for thirteen of those years. Connie loved shopping and collecting Antiques. She also liked to work in her garden and flower beds. Family was very important to Connie, and spending time with her grandkids made her very happy. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Connie had a beautiful smile and personality. Everyone that knew Connie loved her. She loved telling about her salvation and her church "Brattontown Missionary Baptist Church" where Connie was a faithful member. On Saturday, October 12, 2013, the Lord called Connie home. She is now enjoying the wonders of Heaven and seeing her family that had gone before her. We will greatly miss that smile, but our loss is Heaven's Gain. Funeral services for Connie Gregory were conducted on Tuesday at 11 am from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Daniel Cook officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson and Son Memorial Park. Connie is survived by; Husband, Moody Gregory, Sons, Corey (Cynthia) Thompson, and Cody (Emily) Gregory, Grandchildren, Tristan Thompson and Austin Carver all of Lafayette, TN, Step-Dad, Prentice (Carolyn) Sircy of Carthage, TN, Brothers, Bruce (Delois) Reece of Paducah, KY, Mark (Cathy) Sircy of Vonore, TN, Sisters, Tanna Shephard, Vicki (Steve) Nicely all of Carthage, TN, and Kay (Larry) Albritton of Pleasant Shade, TN.
