Geraldine Tuck

Obituary of Geraldine Tuck

Geraldine Tuck was born on April 1, 1941 to the late Clovis Moss and Vicki Cleora Butcher. She was the oldest daughter of four children born to this union. Besides her parents; brother, Delbert Guinn Moss, and brother-in-law, Daniel Goad also preceded Geraldine in death. On June 16, 1957, at the age of sixteen, she was married to childhood sweetheart, Jimmy Tuck. They shared fifty-six years together and raised one daughter, Tina. She was the apple of their eye. Gerald and Jimmy were totally devoted to Tina. Shortly after she and Jimmy married, Gerald was saved at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, giving her the assurance of an everlasting life. She united with that Church and remained a member until her death. They enjoyed visiting with friends and family and always had a good time with everyone they were around. Geraldine enjoyed staying at home caring for Tina while Jimmy was on the road. She was also a babysitter for many children in her home. She loved these children; she spoiled these children and took care of them as if they were her own. Gerald was the security blanket and the rock for her family. She always brought warmth into the room. On November 10, 2013, at the age of 72, Gerald's life here was over, but her family should take comfort in knowing she is in a better place. While Gerald is gone, the impact she had on so many will live on forever. Funeral services for Geraldine Tuck were conducted Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 1 pm from the Chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home with Elder J. B. Shoulders and Elder Jeff Blackwell officiating.
