Obituary of Robbie Velma Hix

Robbie Velma Hix, age 47, of Lafayette, TN passed away Tuesday evening, November 26th, 2013 at Macon County General Hospital. Memorial Services were conducted Saturday at 1 pm from the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Chuck Pruitt officiating. Robbie was born on January 13, 1966 to Joe Carter and Betty Jean Thurman Carter Scruggs. She was previously married and has one son, Josh and two daughters, Jamie and Betty. Robbie was a homemaker, who loved working in flowers. She also loved animals especially cats. She loved everyone and looked at them as a part of her family. Robbie was known as Mom and Maw to everyone, and loved every minute of it. She will be missed by her family, but the memories will never fade away. Robbie is survived by; Mother and Step-Father, Betty and Bobby Scruggs of the Westside Community in Macon County, TN, Son, Josh (Desi) Phillips of the Mt. Union Community, Daughters, Jamie Kelley of Wisconsin, and Betty Jean (Dale) Cook of Jamestown, TN, Brothers, Thomas (Penny) Gregory of Westmoreland, TN, Kenneth Gregory and Donald Embinder of Florida, and eight grandchildren also survive.
