Obituary of Dale Jackson Lyles

Dale Jackson Lyles, age 68 of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018.  Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, September 26^th at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 Albert Gallatin Avenue, Gallatin, TN  37066.  Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26^th from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m.

Mr. Lyles was born May 24, 1950 in Scottsville, KY.  He is preceded in death by parents, William Thomas Cooper, Jr. and Wilma Jewell Jackson Cooper; brother, William David Cooper; and sister, Carla Diane Cooper Strunk.  He is survived by son, Michael Lyles (Michele) of Lebanon; daughter, Elisha Etheridge (Chris) of Lebanon; brother-in-law, Gary Strunk of Millersville; sister, Freda Dawn Cooper of Nashville; 7 grandchildren, Addison Roth, Keegan Etheridge, Lukas Etheridge, Caleb Stewart, Dakota Lyles, Chloe Lyles, Shaelyn Gardner; and 1 great grandchild, Kinley Lyles.  Mr. Lyles served our country in the United States Army and retired after 24 years.  He also retired from the United States Postal Service after 34 years of service.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
