Obituary of Iva Gentry

Iva Gentry, age 76 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 22^nd at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Monday, January 21^st from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 22^nd from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Whitley Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Gentry was born June 23, 1942 in Lafayette, to the late Odell Summers and Ollie Pauline Morris Summers.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Bobby Ray Gentry; brother, Jr Summers, Jimmy Summers, and George Summers; and sisters, Peggy Faye Summers, Carrie Copas, and Sarah Likens.  She is survived by sons, Tony Gentry of Gallatin and Kevin Gentry (Tammy) of Gallatin; sisters, Mary Summers of Gallatin and Sue Davenport (Ronnie) of Oak Grove; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.  Mrs. Gentry retired from Globe after many years of service.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
